Swakoptal

Situated in the center of Namibia, the Swakoptal Conservancy is one of the largest commercial conservancies in Namibia. Large populations of free-ranging wildlife make this an important area for wildlife conservation. Many of the wildlife species, such as gemsbok, kudu, hartebeest, warthog are important to the hunting and game farm industry. In our conservancy there are game farms who will be able to offer exotic game.

An unique flora and landscape provides for an exceptional variety of animals.  The conservancy has a large population of Kudu, Gemsbok and Warthog. Some of the other game species include Hartebeest, Black wildebeest, Blue wildebeest, Ostrich, Eland, Baboon, Springbok, Zebra, Waterbuck, Impala and other small antelopes.  Leopards and Cheetah still roam the Swakoptal Conservancy freely.

There are many hunting farms in the conservancy.  Some of Namibia's best trophy hunting takes place here.  Most of the game farms aren't game fenced, there for the game roams freely, guaranteeing a real hunting experience under "Fair Chase" conditions.  Most of our hunters enjoy the savanna witch makes for a ideal hunting experience.

Some of the best guest farms in Namibia is situated in our conservancy.  Be welcomed to  friendly farm hospitality, with the best African and German cuisine available in Namibia. Leave all your city problems behind you and come relax and experience the Namibian savanna.

Most of the farmers in the conservancy farms with cattle.  Bonsmara, Brama-Crosses, Simentallers, Simbras,  are some of the cattle types you will find in our conservancy.  Most of our cattle are for meat production and gets exported to foreign countries.  Thus making us one of the largest contributors to the Namibian meat export market.
